Robert Michael Crowe, age 47, passed away on Monday, August 10, 2026, in Statesville, North Carolina. He was born in Greenfield Indiana, to Howard Crowe and Joy Bowen. Robert attended Knightstown Wesleyan church. He was an avid outdoorsman who found great joy in hunting. Coon hunting was his favorite hobby, but he also loved squirrel hunting and enjoyed any opportunity to be outdoors. Hunting was more than a pastime for Robert, it was where he found happiness and made many cherished memories. He had many close friends whom he considered family, rather than simply friends, and he loved each of them dearly.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Luther and Patricia Bradford, his paternal grandparents, James and Callie Garrett and Frank Crowe, one uncle, Alan Bradford, and one aunt, Marcia Beavers.

Robert leaves behind his loving wife, Trista Crowe, and his two beloved children, Bronson Lee Crowe and Bryer Robert Crowe, whom he loved dearly. He is also survived by his loving mother, Joy(Bob) Bowen, his father, Howard Crowe, his sister, Amy(Brian) Bell, and three stepbrothers, Rob, Scott, and Jason Bowen.

Robert will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him. His love for his family and his passion for the outdoors will remain in the hearts and memories of those he leaves behind.

Visitation will be held from 12:00pm to 2:00pm on Saturday, August 15, 2026 at Lewis funeral Home.

 Funeral services officiated by Bro. Joseph Matthews will be immediately following visitation at 2:00pm. Burial will be held at Wagers-Brinegar cemetery with Ryan Schweizer, Conor Lucas, Aaron Gerald, Doug Gerald, Toby Atkins and Terry Atkins serving as active pallbearers.
