Roger Dale Warner, age 70, of Irvine, Kentucky, departed this life on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at the Greg and Noreen Hospice Center in Hazard, Kentucky.

Mr. Warner was born on January 15, 1953, in Richmond, Kentucky, to the late Oliver Lewis and Fairiy Rose Warner. He often attended the Old Time Gospel Church, Ivory Hill Baptist Church, and Bethel Christian Church.

In addition to his parents, Roger was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, Roy and Randall Shumate and 1 sister, Alice Faye Houston.

Roger is survived by his three children, Jeff Warner, Michelle Osborne and husband Timothy, and Monica Glasson. Along with 7 grandchildren, Trinity, Owen Dale, Jeffrey, Noah, and Nicholas Osborne and Tracy and Joshua Glasson. Numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends to miss him and mourn his passing.

Funeral services for Roger Dale Warner will be conducted on Saturday, March 4,2023, at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of Lewis Home for Funerals. Brother David Watson will be officiating. Internment will follow in the Rose-Freeman Cemetery in Irvine, Kentucky. The family will receive friend on Friday, March 3, 2023, from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Lewis Home for Funerals.

Serving as pallbearers will be, Glen Rose, Travis Rose, Randy Shumate, Ricky Brinegar, Jerry Brinegar, Timothy Osborne, Trinity Osborne, and Owen Jake Osborne. As well as Numerous honorary pallbearers.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to his memorial fund.
