Ronald Fox, 65, husband of Carol Pollitte Fox, passed away Tuesday, March 12th at the Compassionate Care Center, after a long illness. Mr. Fox was an employee of Tetra Tech, INC, and worked at the Bluegrass Army Depot. He was a KY Colonel, a lifetime Alumni of University of Kentucky, a Gideon, and a member of the Irvine 1st Baptist Church. He was a native of Harlan County KY, and graduate of the University of Kentucky Class of 1970. He was a son of the late Lanis Eldon and Judy Mason Fox. Mr. Fox was a huge University of Kentucky sports fan. He was preceded in death by his sister Patricia Fox (Gary) Caldwell and his niece Julia Caldwell (Brent) Robinson. Survivors include his wife of 24 years Carol; his sons Troy Nelson (Shirley Ann) Fox, Ronald Dale (Sheila) Fox, Howard Lynn (Faron) Ellison Jr., William Lee Ellison, Earlbert Lance Ellison; his daughter Carolyn Annette (Jim) Morris; his nephew F. Scott (Rebekah) Caldwell; grandchildren Tony, Alex, Brandon, Brett, Aaron, Brylee Ellison; his great nephews Corey Alex Caldwell, and Bradley Caldwell. Services will be held Friday, March 15th, 7:00 PM at the Irvine 1st Baptist Church, with Bro. Chris Winkler officiating. Friends may call anytime after 5:00 PM Friday at the church, and from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM Saturday March 16th at Anderson, Laws and Jones Funeral Home, 114 S. Third St. Harlan, KY. Interment will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery in Harlan following the visitation Saturday. Pallbearers will be Alex and Bradley Caldwell, Lance Ellison, Scott Caldwell, Howard Ellison. Honorary pallbearers will be Deacons of the 1st Baptist Church of Irvine, and Deacons of the Baptist Church of Harlan. Service: 7:00 PM Friday, March 15th Irvine 1st Baptist Church
