Ruby Jean Peters, 50, passed away Saturday, at her home. She was a native of Estill County, a daughter of the late T.J. and Nancy Griffin Peters. Ms. Peters was a retired nurse, and enjoyed gardening, reading, family, friends, and rabbit figurines. She lovingly provided for her animal friends Rue, Buttercup, Wesley, Duck-Duck, Elmer, and Charlie. She was preceded in death by her sister Lou Francis Tipton. Survivors include her sisters Agnes (and husband Carl) McGee, and Peggy(and husband Jim) Spiers; ��her niece Hannah Paige McGee; and her nephew Patrick Thomas Spiers.
