Ruth Irene Scott Reynolds, 100, widow of Glen Lowell Reynolds, passed away Friday at the Irvine Health and Rehab Center. Mrs. Reynolds was a native of Carter County, a daughter of the late John and Bertha Tackett Scott. She was a homemaker, and a former dairy farmer. She was preceded in death by her son Danny Lowell Reynolds; her siblings Cecil Scott, Opal Scott, Ruby Scott, and Hayden Scott. Survivors include her daughters Carol Ann (Steve) Haller, and Bertha Lynn "Bo" McCreary; six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and a score of nieces and nephews. Services will be held at Lewis-Abner Home for Funerals Tuesday, 1:00 pm. Friends may call from 12:00 pm until service time. Additional services will be held Wednesday at 12:00 pm at the Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill, KY. Burial will follow in the Garvin Ridge Cemetery.
