Shelby "Perry Dog" Crowe, age 78, of Ravenna, Kentucky departed this life on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at the Abbyshire Place Nursing Center in Bidwell, Ohio.

Shelby was born on June 30, 1945, in Irvine, Kentucky to the late Dan and Betty Ann Tipton Crowe. Along with his parents he is also preceded in death by 1 brother, Rudolph Crowe and 2 sisters, Bernice Dixon and Imogene Crowe.

Mr. Crowe was a member of Amvets Post #67 in Clay City, Kentucky. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Shelby was a 32nd degree mason and belonged to the Stafford Masonic Lodge #562 for 46 years.

He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Linda Gay Crowe, His son, Bradley Keith Crowe and wife Amy, 1 sister, Jeanette Dixon, 2 brothers, Dallis Crowe and wife Jeanne and Reuben Esco Crowe and wife Raymona. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends to miss him and mourn his passing.

Funeral services for Shelby "Perry Dog" Crowe will be conducted on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Lewis Home for Funerals. Robert "Skip" Johnson will be officiating. Internment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. A Masonic service will be held at 8:00 P.M. Tuesday evening at the funeral home by Stafford Lodge #562, Irvine Lodge #137, and O.D. Henderson Lodge #437. Graveside military honors will be provided by Clay City Amvets #67 and Stanton American Legion Post #305.

Pallbearers will be Bradley and Jeff Crowe, Todd and Mason Griggs, and Rocky and Canyon Hix. Honorary pallbearers will be, Roger Bowles,

Ed Flannery, Russ "K1" Petro, and grand dogs Fred and Frank.
