Susie Lancaster Richardson Babb, 87, widow of the late Albert Babb, and the late Frank Richardson Jr., passed away Sunday, in Berea at St. Joseph Hospital, after an illness. Mrs. Babb was a native of Estill County, a daughter of the late Buford and Docie Hoover Lancaster. She was a homemaker, a member of the Baptist Faith. She was preceded in death by her son Michael Wayne Richardson, and her son-in-law Julian Moss Jr.. Survivors include her daughters Millie (and husband Paul) Spivey, and Marilyn Moss; her grandchildren S. Curtis (and wife Sheri) Spivey, Jeff C. (and wife Bridget) Moss, P. Tim (and wife Lindsey) Spivey, and Susan M. (and husband Preston) Gibson; her great-grandchildren Maria C. Moss, Stephen Spivey, Jackson C. Moss, Sarah E. Spivey, M. Carter Moss, Kendra Spivey, Madison A. Moss, Cody, W. Spivey, Maya H. Gibson, and Sydney N. Spivey; her brother Ledford Lancaster; her sister Mae Richardson; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Services will be held 1:00 PM, Thursday, June 19th, 2014 at Lewis Funeral Home with Jeff Moss, Tim Spivey, and Sheila Matthews officiating. Burial will follow in the West Irvine Cemetery. Friends may call anytime after 11:00 am Thursday, until service time. Pallbearers will be S. Curtis Spivey, Jeff C. Moss, P. Timothy Spivey, Preston Gibson, Jackson C. Moss, and M. Carter Moss.
