Tandy Crawford Jr., 80, widower of Betty Claunch Crawford passed away Monday March 3rd, 2014. He was born July 26th, 1933, a son of the late Tandy and Beluah Gross Crawford. He was a heavy equipment operator and retired from Southeast Coal Co.. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his son Tandy Wayne Crawford; his sister Shirley D. Crawford McCormick; and his grandson Tandy Michael Estes. Survivors include his son Charles Wallace and Jeanette Horn; three daughters Alice Rosenberry (and husband Johnny), Sharlon Whitley (and husband Manuel), and Lois Allen; a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Services will be held Saturday, March 8th, at 2:00 pm at Lewis Funeral Home, with Dennis Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the Roberts Cemetery at South Irvine, with military honors. Friends may call anytime after 6:00 pm Friday. Pallbearers will be Jamie Sparks, Steven Sparks, David Rawlins, Buzzy Horn, Jordan Estes, and Tory Crawford. Honorary pallbearer will be Mike Estes.
