Vernetta Jane Abner Farthing Born 10/1/1932 | Died 05/11/16 (83 Years Young) She spent the last seven years of her life in Catawba County, North Carolina. The following preceded her in death: her mother Ethel Mae Powell Abner Robinson, her father Aaron Abner Sr., her husband of 49 years Fred D Farthing, her brother Aaron Abner Jr., her daughter Rhonda, her son Teddy, three grandchildren Sammy, Keith, and Bubby, and one great-grandson Cody. She was survived by: two sisters Mable Willis and Betty Reed, one sister-in- law Irma Jean Abner, one aunt Iva Jean Powell, five children Carolyn and James Rhoton of Claremont, NC, Judy Spicer of Frenchburg, KY, Freddie Farthing of Booneville, KY, Bobby and Jackie Farthing of Claremont, NC, Anita and Eddie "Bo" Wallace of Richmond, KY, 18 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great- grandchildren. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and sisters- and brothers-in- the-lord.
