Vernon Freeman, 46, of New Fox Road, passed away Thursday, at the UK Medical Center, after a long illness. He was a native of Estill County, born August 27th, 1965, a son of Pattie M. Freeman, and the late Vernon Means Jr. He was preceded in death by a brother Michael Lynn Freeman, and a sister-in-law Sandra Joanne Freeman. Survivors other than his mother include his brothers Dewey and Tim Freeman; his nieces Kelly Jean Gaye, and Laura Lee Freeman. Services will be held Saturday, March 10th, at 2:00 PM, Lewis Funeral Home, with Bro. Dale Payne officiating. Burial will follow in the Rose-Freeman Cemetery.
