Wendell Winkler, 74, passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at Baptist Health in Richmond, Kentucky. He was born on Sunday May 18, 1952, in Dayton, Ohio, to the late Glen and Eda Winkler.

Wendell attended Station Camp Christian Church and loved the Word of the Most High. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Linda Spradling. He is survived by his brothers, Gary (Thelma) Winkler and Mike Winkler; four nieces, Angela Boling, Juana Corrnett, Jennifer Collins, and Mellissa Lormer; three nephews, Michael Glenn, Gary Winkler Jr., and Kyle Spradling; and several cousins, whom he loved dearly.

A graveside service will be held at Newton Cemetery on Monday, October 19, 2026, at 12:00 p.m.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Lewis Funeral Home of Irvine.
