With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Zachary Donald Lee Miller of Clay City, Kentucky. He entered into the presence of his Lord and Savior on July 28, 2026, after a lengthy battle with glioblastoma.

Zachary will be remembered for his extraordinary character, his kindness, and the faith he lived by so naturally. He found joy in building computers, gaming, playing his electric guitar, fishing, and listening to sermons that strengthened his relationship with God. He also cherished his loyal K-9 companions, Krypto, Addie, Sadie, and the late Fluffy. Each of whom offered him comfort on his hardest days. More than anything, Zachary loved people. His gentle spirit, warm smile, and welcoming heart made being around him easy. He never met a stranger, and whether someone knew him for years or only a moment, they quickly felt his genuine care. The love he freely gave will be remembered by all who had the blessing of knowing him. His journey, though marked by deep suffering, was also filled with abundant love from his family, friends, church community, and all who stood faithfully beside him.

He was a member of Full Gospel Lighthouse Church and was deeply grateful for the love and support shown by his church family. We would also like to recognize Rolling Hills Church of Christ, whose kindness and generosity meant so much during his illness.

Zachary is survived by his mother, Angela Miller; his father, James "Jamie" Miller; his brother, James Miller Jr. ("Bub"), of Clay City, Kentucky; his sister, Brittany Brabender and her husband, Ben, of Cincinnati, Ohio; his beloved nephews, Corey and Colby; his special aunt, Audrey Clowers; his Aunt Judy and Uncle Jeff; his cousins, Tina and Jack; and many other relatives and friends who loved him deeply.

He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Barbara Woosley and Carolyn Sue Miller; his aunt, Sherry Stamper; his uncle, Donald Miller; and many other beloved family members and loved ones.

Our family would like to express our deepest gratitude to every person who prayed, visited, called, sent messages, provided meals, made donations toward his care, or offered support throughout Zachary's illness. Your love carried us when we did not have the strength to stand on our own.

We especially thank Delora and Mike Kennon, Pete Smith, Darrell and Ashley Shiflett, Greg Conrad, Pastor Danny, Debra Woosley, Doug Dee, Paul Johnson, Angi and Terry Townsend, Mitchell Haggard, Katie Brooks, Renee and Jeremy Jones, Tiffany Whitehead, Irvine Respiratory, and so many others whose kindness will never be forgotten.

Although our hearts are shattered by this loss, we find peace in knowing that Zachary is no longer suffering. The body that failed him has been made whole, and he now rests in the presence of Jesus Christ. We hold tightly to God's promise that this goodbye is only temporary, and through faith we look forward to the day we will see him again.

Funeral will be held Thursday July 30, 2026, at Lewis Funeral Home by pastor Sammy Faulkner and Dan murphy, burial will follow at West Irvine Cemetery. pallbearers will be Pete Smith, Bryan Smith, Darrell Shiflet, Ashley Shiflet, Aaron Chadwick, Phillip Puckett, Shane Puckett, and Steven Stamper. 

Visitation will be held from 11:30 till service time at 1:00pm Thursday July, 30, 2026 at Lewis Funeral Home.
